June 24, 201113 yr Author comment_359721 Thanks Jim and Decoy. I ended up ordering 54145-E4102 for $36.00. According to the link decoy provided (which I will bookmark at work) N4301 supersedes the E4102 but both are still available. I'm a little confused but the dealer (nissanofchesapeake.com) confirmed the latter is correct for my car. I guess I will find out Tuesday. Thanks again. June 24, 201113 yr comment_359723 FWIW - My 7/71 car still has the early, forward located differential. So it should use the early style mount. When I replaced mine several years ago, I used 55415-E4102. Fit fine. July 12, 201113 yr comment_361241 Have you bought one of the Ron Tyler mounts? If not, it is good insurance to keep the new mount from failing. July 12, 201113 yr Author comment_361256 I have thought about that for the next Z but I am keeping this one as close to stock as possible.John Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/40006-at-work-need-part-number-asap/#findComment-361256 Share on other sites
July 12, 201113 yr comment_361271 I have thought about that for the next Z but I am keeping this one as close to stock as possible.I can certainly appreciate the desire to keep it stock, but since the R-T mount is 100% reversible, I saw no reason not to install one in mine. The improvement in the driveline lash (and therefore around town drivability) was great, and well worth it. I kept my stock strap, and could revert to stock in under an hour.
