i just bought a 240 bumper for my 77 280 any tricks to make this swap easier?

i think theres a lot of info about this in the archives. i looked into it myself a few years ago, i think it requires some modifcations

There is/was a guy that I think went by the name zhab who used to post to zcar.com. I believe he's he's out of Florida.

I know he did the exact bumper replacement that you are looking to do and wrote it up. He did a very nice job.

For some reason it didn't copy the entire address! Anyway http://www.zccjdm.com has prefabricated brackets that I wish I knew about when I did mine.
