Diseazd, Your car looks great! Can you please give the offset of your 16's as well as what tires you're running? In addition what springs do you have (are you lowered at all)?

Jarvo.....I believe they are "0" offset. I'm running coilovers, so we can go as low as you dare. The tires are 225-50-16.....a tough tire to fit. They look great, but a 205-55-16 is easier to fit in the wells. Thanks for the compliment.

Watanabe RS in 15x8, 0 offset. Tires are 225/50/15 Toyo RA1's all around. Rolled fender lips and GC Coilovers for clearance, no spacers.

Attached is a picture of a whell that the seller I bought from included with my purchase a number of years ago.  I have never tried to use them.  The wheels that came on the car require the use of spacers that I think upsets the geometry of the front end, but wanted to wear out the tires on the car before changing to other wheels.  Looking through this thread I see no wheels just like this.  My question is, for a 73 240z could these be OEM wheels?  

 

They measure 15 inches across and I know the oem tire spec was 14, but I dont know if that could include an inch for mounting etc.  

 

Does anyone recognize these wheels?

 

If they are the anatomically correct wheels, I have four and would like a fifth.  A spare tire would be a nice thing.

Those are stock ZX Iron Cross wheels.  Came on the 79 & 80 ZX's.

 

I think you will find that they are 14" rims.

These are 15x9-0 Rota Shakotans, bolted against 1" wheel adapters. Tire is a 225/50R15 Kuhmo AST. 

 

Truthfully, these won't clear my AZC steering knuckles or Wilwood 4 piston calipers without that 1" wheel adapter installed, which makes them sit out too far.

 

Suspension is the Ground Control coilover conversion with 10" 225/250 # springs, in their highest possible ride height. So much for adjustable.

 

Since these do not clear my knuckles or brakes with the spacer and the GC suspension is maxed out for height, this car is undrivable, as is. I'm not willing to hack the fenders off my car and install some ZG flares as a brutal fix to this, so anyone looking for a set of these can get them from me for cheap as I'm currently shopping for larger rims and subsequently new tires...

New shoes arrived today. 235/40R17 Federal SS595 on 17x8.5-0 Rota RKR-F, all around, no rolling or rub thanks to camber.

 

-edit- BTW, these tires are STICKY. Feels like a completely different car on these 17's and in a good way.

I'm not a fan of the 40 profile on a Z either, but those slotted wheels that came on the car leave a lot to be desired, esthetically and performance - wise.

Anyone know what make these Slot wheels are on my Orange 72?

They're 15" Diameter, my old White Z had 14" Wolfrace slots on, the ones on the Orange Z are much easier to clean!
