If i were in your shoes, I would buy a updated fuse box and wiring harness from motorsport auto and your problems would be solved. Strange wiring is almost impossible to figure out over the net without looking at the car and touching the wires itself. Also try to find a manual, I never try to do any wiring without a schematic. But if it is a large red wire it usually means that it is a constant power (12volt) or the like made to handle heavy amps. July 14, 201113 yr comment_361473 The only thing that comes to mind is that large red wire is connected directly to the heater blower motor or the speed control switch. and to the fusebox. It's a basically self contained system so so it's gonna have power, and a few grounds to control the speed. So if that wire is coming from the fusebox and is ignition controlled, Should be a Blue wire, it should be Fused with an inline fuse and going to the blower motor's Red wire, via the speed control switch harness. The black wire on the motor should be grounded. The Wiring diagram is not very helpfull when it comes to What wire is what.Dave Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/40187-240z-series-1-fuese-prob/#findComment-361473 Share on other sites
