Posted July 18, 201113 yr comment_361848 HiSo I'm looking to buy a new water inlet fitting (pass side of front cover, above alt) for my F54 L28 and I've come across plenty of inlet fittings for L24/L26. The thing is the pics shown for these L24/L26 items look virtually identical to the one currently on my L28.Are they interchangeable or is there a difference?Thx! July 19, 201113 yr Author comment_361913 Never mindI'm good, I've answered my own question. For others' sake, a L24 water inlet will bolt just fine to a L28 front coverThe difference is that the L28 water inlet has a two way brass fitting pointing back to the firewall whereas a L24 water inlet only has one cast fitting pointing back to firewall.
