Hi

So I'm looking to buy a new water inlet fitting (pass side of front cover, above alt) for my F54 L28 and I've come across plenty of inlet fittings for L24/L26. The thing is the pics shown for these L24/L26 items look virtually identical to the one currently on my L28.

Are they interchangeable or is there a difference?

I'm good, I've answered my own question.

For others' sake, a L24 water inlet will bolt just fine to a L28 front cover

The difference is that the L28 water inlet has a two way brass fitting pointing back to the firewall whereas a L24 water inlet only has one cast fitting pointing back to firewall.

On the 280Zx L28 fitting, the angle is more swept back also, so you cannot use the older radiator hose with it.
