1978 280z Will Not Turn Over

Like the title says my 1978 280z will not turn over. I am pretty new to working on the z...when I used it I never had to. It's been a great little car. It's been sitting for about 6 years. Started off with not passing emissions because of old fuel in the tank. I know stupid I should have drained the tank then....I got it started up a year ago after blowing out the fuel lines, putting in a new fuel pump (added a filter between the tank and the fuel pump). I also put in a used Air Intake module (tested good yesterday). Dad got sick and the car sat.

Fast forward a year. I drained the fuel again and the radiator. The compression and spark was good but there was not enough fuel getting through the injectors. Didn't test the injectors but they looked like hell. There was plenty of fuel to the rail... I put in new fuel injectors, spark plugs, and a fuel filter in the front. Took it for a drive and the car ran great! The best it ran in 10 years!!

Last night I changed the oil. I tried firing it up and it would not turn over. I though I may have hit the fusible link again (it happened a few days ago while working on it and I just wiggled the wires and the car started). This time the wire came out of the one of the connectors. I hit the body of the car trying to get the other side off and it sparked. Today I checked the battery, fully charged and put in a new fusible link, 30 amps. Still nothing.

what do you all think? Where should I start?

You've already posted this. Multiple threads with the same topic won't generate any more responses than one thread will. Be patient. Sounds like you've got some bad connections. Not much to say other than you're going to have to trace them down. Hard to diagnose that kind of thing in print. Didn't we go through this a couple of years or so ago?

Can't tell what you mean by "turn over." Do you mean the starter will not engage the flywheel and rotate the crankshaft? Or that the crankshaft turns but the engine does not start? Do you hear any clicking noises? And do you hear the fuel pump running when you turn the key to start? These would be clues to what things aren't happening that should be.

Also, what is an Air Intake module?

No different problem. A couple years ago the fuel pump wasn't getting juice. Sorry for the repost just thought maybe this section would be more appropriate. I would have deleted the post if it were an option.

The starter will not engage at all. When I turn the ignition switch to on I hear the fuel pump. I am going out now that there's a little shade to check out the connections starting with the starter.

I meant air flow meter. I couldn't remember the name and was too tired to look it up. My ignorance is showing LOL
