Posted August 19, 201113 yr comment_364321 After getting my car running again, I have come across a problem, my brake booster when out.... I have searched around and done some research about where to get one, but not much luck. I've heard Advanced Auto Parts has them, but theres not a location around here. All the other chain part stores didn't have it either. My local foreign part store was no use as well. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm not in a hurry to drive it since it isnt a daily driver yet. August 19, 201113 yr comment_364346 I'm sorry. I meant to say that you should edit your signature and put the year of your car in it. That way it shows up in every post you make. August 20, 201113 yr comment_364408 I have a parts car that I was going to be scrapping out, and it has a good booster and master cylinder on it. It is a '73, but the booster looks the same as my '72. If you're interested in it, send me a pm and make me an offer.Greg Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/40543-another-brake-booster-question/#findComment-364408 Share on other sites
August 20, 201113 yr Author comment_364418 I know this is probably another dumb question, but since my car is a 72 and Black Dragon sells the boosters for 70-71 cars and 73-78 cars where would my car fit in? August 20, 201113 yr comment_364439 Weird but a great question! I looked around and found confusion on this page but I saved you another $50 http://www.racepages.com/parts/brake_booster/240z.html My guess is that any of them should work. Just do some web research on where the vac line attaches and the spacing of the 4 mounting studs and the push rod length. I'm just a little hesitant to buy things on the internet sometimes!
