I actually remember thinking these were pretty cool back in the day, but never saw a convertible. Still, the first thing I thought of after seeing the 2-tone paint and gaudy plastic chrome badges was K-car. It's almost a clone of the first Infiniti M30 convertible.

I will say this: it is amazing the variety of cars that have been preserved and are still available after all these years. Between scanning ebay and sites like bringatrailer.com it is a trip....

That guy has a career in writing car "for sale" ads. I have absolutely NO interest in that car, but after reading his description, I feel like I just have to have it! Save me!!!

He sure can! I bet it he had written the ad for that 72 Scarab on eBay, it would of already sold for the $300,000 asking price. LOL

These can be fast cars if you knew what to do. That looks like it could be a fun car, Nissan is not known for making convertibles.

I had a 1980 200SX. I don't recall ever seeing much available for the NAPS-Z engines to make them fast. To me, it was just a driver. There is quite a bit of 'poetic license' in that ad.

Throw out the engine and drop in an SR20DET?

A bunch of people over at www.311s.org might disagree.

Nissan is not known for making convertibles.

LOL just sayin i like lines of it. The hood and front end, grille and lights, in particular :) . Not sayin it's a 240ZG but for it's time era not bad. But as for the quality of the car, being a "K" design, i wouldn't doubt it LOL:P
