That Ozzy Guy Posted January 2, 2003 Share #1 Posted January 2, 2003 Tell us what you've got planned for your car in 2003.Rules- 1)Post only once to avoid clutter2)List all your to do items and try to be realistic3)Once you have completed a goal, edit your original post and let us know the outcomeI wish you all goodluck with your goals and may you fulfil them with change left in your pockets.My aim for this year includes-1)Fit a quality security system *edit 24-Jan* Fitted a decent alarm system, central locking and power windows.2)Complete car by buying odds and ends including; ashtray, door handle ends3)Reco carbies *edit 16-Jan* Recoed carbies. It now idles smoothly and accelerates better.3a)*edit 06-Jan* Reco engine and give it a mild treatment including 260/270 degree cam with 0.460 lift, rocker arms, heads etc4)Exhaust 2.5" *edit 10-Jan* Got a 2.5" Lukey system fitted today with a 3.5" tip that neatly fits the hole. Very nice and very noisy.5)Rustproof treatment6)Airdam and headlight covers. By the end of Jan: Have all intake/intercooler/exhaust plumbing done (and other hydraulic systems). Get rid of those big bumpers (going to do slimmer more early like bumpers by hand)4. Try to get recaros or others for driving pleasure..5. Just started installing old 70's or 80's alarm(It is actually quite clever) Fits in style6. Like to change suspension too. If I have the money.5. 100% Ride on her everyday next summer!! Put an engine back in it, have to decide which one first... Start the body work for a re-paint possibly by next year:cross-eye Either strip the wrecked car or strip the parts car to fix the wrecked one. Try to find the floor in the garage again....
