Posted September 27, 201113 yr comment_367513 Hi, I've been wanting to do this for ages , I special ordered these blank rotors from DBA and they have been sitting in my spare room for a few years now. and now I have some time, the weathers getting nice ( no shed to work in though ), and I found a small engineering firm, the spacers between the hub and rotors, the enlargement of the center hole for the rotor, and the caliper spacers, all came to $50, not to bad I thought. October 1, 201113 yr Author comment_367879 Hi, Another beautiful day, so good weather to finish my brake upgrade. Originally I left the 3/4 Master cylinder on, Brake worked fine, soft pedal, but a lot of travel, probably 3/4 way to the floor, So I went to put a 7/8 master cylinder on, of course this would not fit the brake booster, the 4 bolts have a different spacing. So I compared this to my part part '73 four door, different brake booster ( my 4 door was a little larger than what's on the 2 door), So I swap this out from the 4 door, fitted the 7/8 master cylinder, brakes work really good, pedal still soft, but only travels about a inch or so, So, can someone tell me , which is the original brake booster for a '73 model, from these pictures ? Not sure if it matters, but the 4 door has the 250mm rotors, and the 2 door has the 270 mm rotors Nigel Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/40910-noddles-front-brake-upgrade/#findComment-367879 Share on other sites
