Posted October 4, 201113 yr comment_368144 Just got my rims back after powder coating and polishing. They look great so I thought I'd share... They are a mesh/basket design by Modern, similar to the Enki designs of the '80s. Included a before photo with the black paint applied over the original gold color looking very tired and the outer rim needing a polish in the worst way. The after photos show the steel gray powder coating and the outer rim brilliantly polished. I'm excited to see them on the car. October 4, 201113 yr comment_368198 I just did the same thing with a set of SSR Reverse Mesh wheels. I gotta put the centers back in and see how they look compared to this set. I did my centers in silver metalic two stage powder coat and had the rims polished. If you don't mind me asking; how much did this restore cost? Mine was $220 in powder coat and $160 in polishing, plus $80 for new stainless allen head bolts. I plan to sell them for $1k.
