How much are you willing to pay? I know someone who I will see in about 3 weeks that I'm buying a guard from who might be able to help.

Also why does everyone cut the radiator support out when removing engines? I had no problem getting my L24 in and out with the gearbox attached when I had it, It did spill a little gearbox oil. . .

Buy the fibreglass from otomoto, the guards on restored.jp are 71,000 yen - $930AUD as of right now and bonnet 35,000 - $468 As I've said before i would be happy with restored fg just not the carbon.

I got another pair of Guards of Ben at Otomoto today so hope these ones turn out ok. Looks like the bonnet will have to be repaired which is ok.

Thanks for your help, go to see the car again on friday mite post up some progress shots then.

  • 2 weeks later...

Don't ask.. it was done a LONG time ago - way back when i was putting in the RB20DET, cutting out the rad support was my uncles idea.. i came back to it having already been cut out..

Did you end doing the bodywork yourself? looking really good!
