Nar the body work is beening done by a older retired guy, who seems to really know his stuff in his massive shed(ie about 10 other restored cars in there mostly datto's)

I hope to have some pics of the finshed car this week. Then its over to me to find the missing/damage parts to replace and put it all back together.

did you manage to see the car (or better yet, get any photo's) of when he was fixing up the metal work? would love to see it before bog.

let me know once he has finished, would love to come out and see the car again (and get this guy's details :))

Looks like a Z in the background too.. maybe he can do some rust work on mine

There are about 4 Z outside and 3 inside i think he mite like them alittle LOL. Most of the cars are owned by a younger guy who i think keeps this guy around to work on all his datsuns and isuzu berlette's. He comes from the viczcar forum thats where i got his number.

I dont think he use's much bog he wields and glass(fibre) to stop any chances of rust, he likes to hit the car harder then i would to show his work is soild.

I told him i planed to fit the badges and he said you can glue them on, cos he dont like unnecessary holes in the car. He only works on cars when he feels like

he said he wouldnt do mine cos it was to much work but the young guy talked him into it. i asked if he was keen to do another 240k and he wasnt sure.

And yer when its done i will let you know you can come see how it has turned out.
