Posted October 8, 201113 yr comment_368588 Just a quick sanity check on harness 27155-e4400: In the photo below: 1. The black ground is obviously tied to chassis ground at the top of the photo. 2. The top 6 pin connector plugs into the back of the fan switch. 3. The bottom 6 pin connector plugs into the blower assembly. Questions: 4. but where does the red power cable with inline fuse plug in/ draw power from? 5. and what about the 3 pin connector tied back at the top? Is it for AC option? April 25, 201212 yr comment_388290 Plugged it in but the blower/fan doesn'tTurn. Thinkin something needs to be connectedsomewhere...I know it works cause it ranon the bench when I cleaned it up.I have a few other electrical issues anyway, might be related! All started by removing thedash to yank the leaking heater coil... I've got the same harness and wondering if anyone has figured this out... Also, can someone clarify where that ground connects normally? To the heater-core box or the blower-motor shell? July 10, 201311 yr comment_427359 So I thought I'd post this since I had such difficulty finding the correct setup and answers. Hopefully others will find this post. Here is the schematic that explains this portion of the dash. I couldn't find it in the FSM that I have on file but it explained the wiring a bit better (for me at least): It shows the BLOWER SWITCH connected to the BLOWER MOTOR, then clarifies that the red power connected to the blue in-line 30A fuse, which you can clearly see in the bottom of Blue's above post. There are two blue billet connectors at the bottom right area behind the radio, one of which will/or at least should have the in-line fuse attached. I grounded my harness to the bolt which holds the heater-core box to the chassis which works. The additional blue molex connector I'm still unsure about, but my guess is that it connects to the additional AC unit. July 10, 201311 yr comment_427363 Here's an old thread with some points of differing opinion. It may only add to any confusion.http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/electrical-s30/42832-blower-harness-connector.html Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/41011-27155-e4400-blower-harness-connections/#findComment-427363 Share on other sites
