October 14, 201113 yr comment_369166 The white one is definitely a better starting point than getting the other two and making them into one. It all really depends on your budget and automotive skills. The only major bad side to the white 280z is that it was blue at one time (according to the shock towers) and un-color changing a car is a pretty time consuming job. It sounds like you and your friend will be able to do a lot of the work to it, and that red one would keep you guys busy for a long time as well. Do what YOU want to do, but take in consideration what the guys on here are saying. October 14, 201113 yr comment_369170 The white 280 definitely looks like a good choice and for that price you can't say too much.@CW240Z, if you are saying that the driver-side shock tower looks blue I think it may just be a shadow, but maybe you are right.Definitely not the cleanest car in the world but if you plan to do a full resto then I would say that the car looks great for it! Hope it goes well. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/41034-first-zcar-need-some-advice/?&page=2#findComment-369170 Share on other sites

October 15, 201113 yr comment_369351 Are you limiting your search to Canadian cars? Are there significant issues with bringing in a car from the states? If the import regs are not too difficult for an antique vehicle, look at some California cars that have a strong chance to rust free and not heavily modded.Jim Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/41034-first-zcar-need-some-advice/?&page=2#findComment-369351 Share on other sites
