Posted October 21, 201113 yr comment_369778 I hope to start working on my dads '78 soon, mainly get it running again. Hopefully, if I can't get it to run he'll gain interest in it again. For the past decade he has said he will restore it "one day". I am sure a lot of you have heard that when trying to buy an old car from someone. He is the original owner, drove it off the lot brand new. It was his daily driver and he put approx. 260,000 miles on it before he parked it. The datsun has been sitting in the driveway, nearly untouched, for atleast 10 years. A few years ago I had it running, then attempted to start it again a few months later and ended up smoking the fusible links. I have another build going on right now ('77 Ford Bronco), but think it would be a good project for us both to work on. He needs something to fill his time :tapemouth Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/41133-new-member-not-so-new-78-280z/ Share on other sites
