Posted November 14, 201113 yr comment_371752 Does anyone know what Z those cvs came from? They look a bit long for the 280zxt's, Im thinking of the z31 NA cvs but Im not sure, could be z32? The reason I ask is I want to source the bolts for the cv to the flange. November 14, 201113 yr comment_371762 They LOOK like 280 ZXT half shafts. The flange bolts are probably 8 or 10mm metric. You can probably get them at any hardware store. November 14, 201113 yr comment_371765 The 300ZX NA shafts and 280ZXT shafts look very similar. The problem is that the 300ZX NA shafts are way too long to fit in the car. There is a guy on HybridZ who talked about cutting them down and resplining the shaft. I'm a bit wary of his measurements, but it would be something to look into if you were putting these in an S30.http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/100094-cv-axle-discussion/page__view__findpost__p__951914 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/41330-help-me-to-indentify-these-cvs/#findComment-371765 Share on other sites
November 15, 201113 yr Author comment_371826 Thanks guys, I'll confirm after when they are here. As for the bolts, should I order them from Nissan or any high tensile bolts will do?
