Posted November 18, 201113 yr comment_372124 I have this brand new braided hose, that was to be used in a 78 280, that I would like to sell, but, as a 240 guy, I have no clue what it's used for. The long, sort of straight section is 14" long, while the curvy section is also approx. 14" long. November 19, 201113 yr comment_372144 This appears to be one of the vent hoses for the fuel tank - the one that attaches at the middle-rear of the tank and enters the interior compartment behind the tail light cover on the right side. It is possible this hose spans multiple years of S30's. I replaced all 3 of mine during the resto, the P/N's were: 17239-E4601, $31.41; 17235-E4601, $61.53; 17236-E4601, $88.84. If the i.d. is about 1/2" then I think yours is the 3rd one in my list.Hope this helps.Jim Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/41379-can-anyone-id-this-hose/#findComment-372144 Share on other sites
November 19, 201113 yr Author comment_372160 Thanks for your reply. I wasn't even thinking vent lines, just underhood. I'll do some further research.
