hey guys

just picked this up today

its a 1976 240k. And from what im told is a GT? it has gt badges on the front, door trims, and said the sides were changed to gl because someone kept stealing the gt ones? came with a 240K GT handbook too.not too sure if it could be a gt if someone could confirm? :)

Its currently running a single weber carbie, but he gave me twin su's which i gather are from a 240Z??

i got it home and gave it a wash. didnt know datsun was japanese for 'leaks like siv' haha

took it for a cruise down the beach and she cruises along nicely!! :D

Its got some decent rust in both front doors, new doors are prob on the cards

and i was bummed when i saw both bumpers had dents. so a set of bumpers if i can find them.

But plan is to take it off the road and do a full resto job on it :)

i like the plates, but SLO-240 plates are avalable, so they might be the go haha

some thoughts and info on it would be appreciated

More pics and plans to come

Terry.

Nice ride...I need something like this...

I just ran accross one of these exact cars over on JNC for sale...$12k...REALLY clean looking...

my worry would be the emissions and safety issues to make it a legally driveable car here in the states...since its a 1976.
