November 20, 201113 yr comment_372292 Agreed. I found the pics very helpful in working on my 1977. Anytime you combine jets or vintage planes and cars, nothing but fun. November 20, 201113 yr Author comment_372293 I rarely save pics of other peoples cars, but I had to save a few of this beauty. November 20, 201113 yr comment_372302 This is in referrence to the subject car of this thread as I haven't looked at the ones that zed2 linked. I don't think that I'd call it the "nicest 280 I've seen for sale in over a decade" especially after looking at the underneath pictures. I mean, it's nice but I've seen nicer (includiing the one I sold a couple of years ago...JMO). Might just be that there are nicer examples on the west coast than on the east coast. Jared's (DatsunZsRule) recently sold car is nicer than that one. Again, JMO. November 21, 201113 yr comment_372339 Yep, most "good condition" Z-cars that have spend their entire existence East of the Mississippi river would be considered parts cars in California. At least that is my observation from the years that I have been visiting this site. November 21, 201113 yr comment_372344 Sorry for the thread hijack, but do ALL of the '75 - '78 Z's have a crooked LH turn signal? Look at the picture of the front of the ebay car and the front of mine. My 260 also looks the same, but I don't have a clear picture of it. I have noticed this for years and don't ever remember anybody bringing it up. November 21, 201113 yr comment_372363 I think my left turn signal was tweaked...so I un-tweaked it. I just can't leave anything alone. November 22, 201113 yr comment_372445 It's nice, but I wouldnt say it's exceptional. Mine is just as nice or maybe even nicer. I'm glad it's bidding up well. Looks like they didn't repaint the hatch jam. Rear bumper looks rusted through on the bottom by the exhaust. Lots of spray bomb on the underside, not that it's necessarily a bad thing, just saying. I think the car is "well represented" Edited November 22, 201113 yr by cozye Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/41415-probably-the-nicest-280-ive-seen-for-sale-in-over-a-decade/#findComment-372445 Share on other sites
