Posted November 21, 201113 yr comment_372387 Good morning all Z club members, glad to have found this site. I have a 74Z for sale and would like some feedback. It has appx 55000mi, is slightly modified with 3 40dcoe weber carbs, headers, freeflow exhaust, mulholland suspension, chrome wheels. Other than these it's stock, with a little rust. Any suggestions on what to ask? Thanks in advance, Harv Here's a pic Edited November 21, 201113 yr by Harv Whitman Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/41430-good-morning-from-new-member-who-has-a-74z-for-sale/ Share on other sites

November 21, 201113 yr comment_372397 More than that. The carbs alone are worth $500 or more. But how much more will depend on the extent of the rust. We will need more detail - where is the rust? Any pictures of the rusty spots? November 21, 201113 yr comment_372399 I don't think it' worth much more than $1500, It needs alot of work and parts. This thing will be more than a nickel and dimer, I see $2000 worth of parts missing just in air filters, wheels and bumpers. Than theres the rust. November 21, 201113 yr comment_372404 I just (slightly) overpaid $1300 for a 74 260Z down here in Ms. It is basically in running condition with a little clutch and brake work. Based on my research, an asking price of $1500 would be a "full" asking price. Opinions are like elbows, we all have a couple!! November 21, 201113 yr comment_372409 I came up with 1500 based on 750 for the carbs and manifold as cores for a rebuilt set. And I think thats a bit high.
