November 26, 201113 yr comment_372794 Are you sure that tach is wrong? I recall you recently buying a 3 wire tach that you said was wrong for your car. If the 3 wire is incorrect, THIS tach is the 4 wire tach which is the only other one used for the 240.As far as the Speedo, I've seen that extra electronic unit on the back of the speedo on loose speedos but have no idea what circuit it applies to. I'll be keeping an eye on this post hoping someone will offer a possible solution.E Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/41468-gauge-id/#findComment-372794 Share on other sites

November 26, 201113 yr comment_372810 The wing nut mounting requires them both to be from a 240 dash. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/41468-gauge-id/#findComment-372810 Share on other sites
November 26, 201113 yr Author comment_372853 I bought a 4 wire, that deal fell through. I have the late 73 which takes a three wire tach, which I bought in this auction but he shipped me the wrong set of gauges. I know the tach is wrong but I think the speedo might be okay, although I don't recall that lil' box on the back of my existing speedo. Hope to get to this project (the speedo) today, If it's not going to work in my car, it will save me a drive to the other shop later, any thoughts?
