Posted December 1, 201113 yr comment_373350 I have been trying to track down a 260 Z that I bought new in 1974 and sold in 1978 .The web sites I have been using indicate that the number is invalid . I have the original window sticker and it shows Serial No RLS30-018365 ,not a Vin # as we know it today . Any sugestions on possibly finding this car if it hasn't already been crushed. I'm just curious to see if it is still around. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/41526-searching-for-a-car-using-the-vinserial-no/ Share on other sites

December 1, 201113 yr comment_373378 Try HLS30-..................That won't do any good. North American market 260Z's had VINs that started with RLS30.The only Z-car registry that includes 260Z's and 280Z's that I know of is the one in this thread: http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?27519-Online-Z-Car-registry. It is an online excel spreadsheet that often gets screwed up, but it looks ok now. There is a registry on zhome.com, but that is only for 240Z's.-Mike Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/41526-searching-for-a-car-using-the-vinserial-no/#findComment-373378 Share on other sites
