Posted December 8, 201113 yr comment_373899 Hello guys! New to the forum, but I've already been using it for a lot of useful information. I just picked up at 1970 240Z, I guess you can say it's been in the family since practically brand new. My aunt got it for her first car in 1973 and has owned it since. 11 years ago it threw a connecting rod out of the side of the block and has sat in the garage since then. I drove 30 hours last mouth round trip in a weekend to pick the Z up and the rebuild has already started. Plans are to swap a 280Z motor, trans, and rear end into it and hoping to have it on the road by the spring. I already picked up a 79' 280ZX parts car and have pulled all the necessary parts and the engine rebuild should begin soon. Glad to introduce myself and hope to learn a lot.
