I've heard good things about this changeover. I wanted to do it to my 260 years ago but smog regs. wouldn't let me. New ones are available from Arizona Z on the links page.

your best bet on a stock or even more then stock motor would be the round top su's hands down.

personally i wouldnt waste my time and or money doing that conversion.

point being why would you want a down draft carb on a motor set up for side draft carburetors.

if you do upgrade and go for more power ie boring and working the head and doing the cam, then go triples or beef up the su's

stay away from the 4 barrel convert

just my .02

I have to agree with ZmeFly on this one. Sure the holley will be easier to tune, but you tend to starve #1& 6 cylinders of fuel.

The SU's aren't that hard to tune to warrant a single down draught carbie on a performance engine.

Just my opinion

Ok, this is my first car, I have no idea where to adjust the carbs at? :stupid: I use to own a '96 Stratus, so I can't say that I know enough about the car. By the way, what is the fire order of the spark plugs?

Thanks,
