I have a 1977 280z and i am looking to either fix or replace my eyeball end vents in the dash. They both have the chrome wrap peeling off of the plastic. Does anyone know where i can buy new ones? MSA only sells for the 1970-73. Or does anyone know of any places or the type of place that will "rechrome" it? I live in Las Vegas and have called around, but it seems like everyone says they cannot rechrome them. Ive been calling rechroming shops. Am I calling the wrong people? Thanks.

I hear re chrominance plastic is very expensive. I came across a high end chrome paint online that may look good or a silver paint with alot of metal flake may look good
