I scanned thru the newspaper...all the way over to the classifieds..to the right ( page 17 and beyond )and see some nice vehicles for cheap! nice used car section...back when everyone advertised in "the paper" 1967 Jaguar xke $3400 1960 corvette $895 1968 shelby gt $2690 1963 xke $1400 a sample of corvettes for sale at the local sports car dealership... From what I found (government statistics, so some skepticism is warranted), per capita income is about 8.5 times greater than it was 40 years ago.
