Posted January 7, 201213 yr comment_376680 For those that want to post something like:"My car has a miss at 9,950 rpm, what's wrong?.""My car doesn't rev past 350 rpm, what's wrong?.""My car gets 3mpg, what's wrong?.""I just bought my car and its running rough, what's wrong?."1. Download the appropriate shop manual from here: http://www.xenons30.com/reference.html2. Do a complete tune-up per the shop manual and then follow the Trouble Shooting section.99.9% of the time you will be able to diagnose and fix the problem. You mean changing spark plugs and putting in a new fuel pump won't solve everything? January 7, 201213 yr comment_376708 God forbid for anybody to use the "search" engine to assist with anything anymore...............I just don't understand! Half the fun is reading up on a topic and discovering 2 or 3 more answers to questions that were in the back of your mind.............crazy stuff! January 7, 201213 yr comment_376711 It usually does come down to the basics-and you can't get more basic than a 40 year old car. I'm with Traveln man, the fun of this hobby for me is the learning. Even as basic as these cars can be, I still learn something all the time. Just got my Corky Bell book on Turbo charging-I'll be getting dangerous now!!!!
