January 13, 201213 yr comment_377409 The first go round the gaskets were installed dry, there was plenty of compression, everything looked good. After it was together was when everyone said it should have some type of 'sealant', to prevent fumes. I had fumes. I looked at the old gaskets and there was residue of glue on them. They got glued on this time. My car had been repainted but it was a crappy Macco job so they had just masked off the tail light finisher.
