January 13, 201213 yr comment_377461 Alpha duetto. I believe it is a '67-'69. Pininfarina design, was ahead of its time. It is quite a departure from the classic roadster look of the 60's (i.e. Datsun, Triumph, Fiat, The Alpha Veloce that preceeded it etc). The American versions had the mechanical fuel injection, which was pretty advanced for its time, though the carb'd versions are more sought after. January 13, 201213 yr comment_377463 Later years had uncovered headlights and a truncated rear. The early ones with the rear you pictured and headlight covers are best. January 13, 201213 yr comment_377470 Nice, that's a car from the New Years ("Anti-Football") classic car run I went on! I remember seeing that Alfa (among many others), along with an eye-shattering amount of car porn! Too bad my camera sucks, and I took few pictures because I was going on 2.5hrs of sleep... I'll just leave a few teasers, from our mini-convoy: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/41939-what-classic-car-is-this/#findComment-377470 Share on other sites
January 14, 201213 yr comment_377484 Italian cars and Italian women... beautiful to see, wonderful to touch. Their personalities can sometimes be a bit challenging to live with. When all is said and done, a session with either will leave you with a smile of contentment and looking forward to the next interlude. January 14, 201213 yr comment_377506 A Beta is a Lancia, not an Alfa. Not that long ago I saw a reference to an "Austin Martin".... sigh. January 14, 201213 yr comment_377525 In 1980 my brother found an unusual car & bought it for $800. It is a 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider Veloce. Another sexy Pininfarina body. It is still in his garage, in pieces, waiting for me to acquire, someday, maybe.
