Posted January 15, 201213 yr comment_377620 Hey guys, I'm selling what I believe are 1975 280z bumpers on my late 1974 260z. Maybe they were stock, maybe someone swapped them in, regardless, the back is in good condition with only minor surface rust in it (see pics). The front bumper has the same surface rust, but also has a dent on it and needs to be horizontally realigned when placed on your car. From what I gather, this particular style is rare and only made for 1-2 years (correct me if I'm wrong, pls!). Here's a wiki article that says the same thing (but I wouldn't vouch for it!) Asking $300 for the bumpers without brackets or $350 for everything altogether. Willing to negotiate a bit. Parts are located in San Bernardino, CA and I'm willing to deliver to a reasonable distance. January 20, 201213 yr Author comment_378200 Too high? I'm willing to negotiate if someone wants to trade tools or parts, ya know. I'll be listing them on eBay probably, too. Any other ideas where to sell these to a targeted Z car group? February 5, 201213 yr Author comment_379791 I'm going to list these on eBay soon at a higher price, but I'm willing to give one more go around here for a few days and lower the price to $200 OBO. If anyone is interested, let me know. Been on here a while now and would love to see someone here get them if possible! February 5, 201213 yr comment_379796 I don't think that the bumpers are worth much. I tried to sell mine for a long time before I scrapped them. The rubber surrounds are a different story and are worth quite a bit if they are in good condition. February 11, 201213 yr Author comment_380446 Really? Well I'm kinda just getting ready to get rid of these, so I'll entertain pretty much any reasonable offer. I'm not going to let them go for $50, but I'm not dead set on a price, either. Strange though, these do seem kinda rare since they weren't put on a lot of years. Correct me if I'm wrong though. February 11, 201213 yr comment_380447 Those are the same as my 76 bumpers. As jimbob said, it's the end rubber and rubber shelf in the middle that's hard to find, in good shape. The bumpers themselves are pretty durable. I notice in your pictures that the front bumper is dented and the rubber is gone. Did you toss the rubber or just not show it? February 11, 201213 yr comment_380454 I'm thinking that if he had the rubber, it would be in the ad pictures......and I concur about the value of the bumpers themselves. I had a very good set w/o the rubber from a 77 parts car I once had and ended up junking them when no one wanted to pay 50 bucks for them.
