Not sure right thread,  but this is where search led me....I have a 78' 280z that has been more or less sitting in the garage for 17 yrs.  Just got it running again.  It has an older set nice panasport wheels with really nice looking BFG Eurosport 255/55 R 15 on them.  No dry rot at all but some flat spotting.  Vibration at 55 +.  I cannot find this same size.  Suggestion?  What 15" are you using?

Please don’t ever use tyres that old - for your own sake! While they may look great, the rubber will be well past it’s best and likely to throw you off the road at the first hint of damp. My 99.9% of the time garaged Michelins, with 6.5mm left on them went very badly off after 7 years and yes I did fall off the road at low sped and not much right foot action.

Over the pond in 14/15” there are Bridgstone Turanza T005, which I can’t say enough about in both wet and dry - not sure if you are able to source them where you? Great feel, incredible grip in the wet and brilliant in the dry.

I ran 215/60-14 fronts and 225/60-14 rears on lower springs with no rubbing issues.

In my case though the wheels were 14X6.5 with +13 offset.

14X7 zero offset could have rubbed. Hard to say.
