My tach is dead. PO had installed column mounted tach (light wired to left front marker). Removed wing nut on back

(only one was installed) and tach won't budge. How much force is required?

No appreciable force should be required. It is a slight taper fit around the bezel so it might be wedged in a bit.

if thereh is a plastic dash cover then it will not come out the front.

Turns out there was a small nut in place of the wing nut holding it in place. Thought I had a spare 3 wire. Turns out I have 5 4-wire tachs and 3 280 tachs. :disappoin
