Posted February 2, 201213 yr comment_379515 Issue #1 - When switched on, the hazard lights only blink on the passenger side of the car. (The right arrow on the dashboard display is also the only arrow blinking when the hazard lights switch is turned on.)Issue #2 - The brake light is only working on the driver's side. All bulbs have been checked, and are functional. Are the two issues related? Any insight would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/42156-260z-lightingwiring-problem/ Share on other sites
February 2, 201213 yr comment_379532 Quite possibly they are related. You'll need a copy of the FSM (see link in my signature) and a multimeter to diagnose. Pages BE-12 & BE-13 show the circuits. Also, double check all of the connectors to see if they are loose or if you have a damaged wire.Has this happened recently or has it been this way since you've had the car? If it was recent, did you do any work on the car shortly prior to the problem? February 2, 201213 yr Author comment_379551 Thank you for your suggestions!I've owned the car for less than a month, and I've been doing little projects on the car, so I'm very happy to have gotten the link to the FSM.Yes, this problem is recent. Just put in a new center console, and in the process some of the connectors were unplugged. I'm sure that the wiring problem originates with my messing around with the wiring underneath the dash. I'll make use of the diagrams in the FSM, starting with the connectors under the dash. Thanks again for your help!
