I am having a perforated leather headliner made by an artisan trimmer. I don't have all the details yet. But I believe it will be insulated and of excellent quality with a price to match. Due to availability, the perf pattern will be a little different from stock but with similar size holes. Photos can be provided as the project progresses.

I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in this item. Once the pattern is made, providing additional headliners could be a possibility.

Two photos of the on going interior work are attached.

Thanks,

any updates on this? sounds/looks great.

As shown in the attached photos, the work is progressing but is a little behind schedule and certainly over budget! The carpet is still a work in progress. We're using Wilton Wool III, detailed as found in classic Europeon cars.

I don't expect the headliner to be completed for a few weeks now. With the price of good leather and the perforating cost, I'm afraid the headliner is going to be too expensive for most projects.

Thanks for your interest.

From what recall, the headliners are installed with the front windshield removed. Is that the case?

Yes, the windshield has been removed to install leather trim for the windshield and door headers.
