Posted February 7, 201213 yr comment_379987 I am having a perforated leather headliner made by an artisan trimmer. I don't have all the details yet. But I believe it will be insulated and of excellent quality with a price to match. Due to availability, the perf pattern will be a little different from stock but with similar size holes. Photos can be provided as the project progresses. I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in this item. Once the pattern is made, providing additional headliners could be a possibility. Two photos of the on going interior work are attached. Thanks, FixItMan Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/42202-perforated-leather-headliner/ Share on other sites

March 19, 201213 yr comment_384646 From what recall, the headliners are installed with the front windshield removed. Is that the case? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/42202-perforated-leather-headliner/#findComment-384646 Share on other sites
March 19, 201213 yr Author comment_384649 any updates on this? sounds/looks great. As shown in the attached photos, the work is progressing but is a little behind schedule and certainly over budget! The carpet is still a work in progress. We're using Wilton Wool III, detailed as found in classic Europeon cars. I don't expect the headliner to be completed for a few weeks now. With the price of good leather and the perforating cost, I'm afraid the headliner is going to be too expensive for most projects. Thanks for your interest.
