Travel'n Man Posted February 14, 2012 Share #2 Posted February 14, 2012 Chris - I'm a little confused.........you've been a member for 14 months and your first post is about a Amco Parcell Bar.............do you have a picture or a better description? Taz0162 Posted February 14, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted February 14, 2012 It's the cold midwest winter so I've been running out of items for my project car. The parcel bar is a bar that extends the length of the luggage deck behind the seats approx 5 inches high. It blocks items from sliding forward into the seats. And the reason for lack of posts was password memory fail. I'll be on here more often now that there is an iPad and android ap.

ConchZ Posted February 15, 2012 Share #6 Posted February 15, 2012 Seems like you could make one out of a bathroom towel bar.
Taz0162 Posted February 16, 2012 Author Share #7 Posted February 16, 2012 I prefer the scavenger hunt of locating the period correct accessories that were originally offered for the car.
Taz0162 Posted February 16, 2012 Author Share #8 Posted February 16, 2012 Ok so I know I said I wasn't interested in the bumper overriders but ended up buying a front on on eBay anyway. Not sure if I'll install it but will have the ability to change my mind later on.
Taz0162 Posted December 16, 2012 Author Share #9 Posted December 16, 2012 Here is my update. So I have tracked down both bumper over riders (each uninstalled) and the parcel bar. Parcel bar installed today and looks great. Amco 240Z floor mats and the Japanese 240Z passenger footrest. Time to track down the US Amco branded passenger footrest. The wooden and leather wrapped shift knobs and door panel scuff guards. Going to hold off until spring for this search after the holidays.
Jarvo2 Posted January 2, 2013 Share #10 Posted January 2, 2013 Mind if I ask what you paid for your Parcel bar? I have an AMCO NOS parcel bar that came with my car (never installed) and I don't see myself ever using it and thinking about listing it.
Taz0162 Posted March 26, 2013 Author Share #11 Posted March 26, 2013 @Jarvo I paid $150.00 shipped from Florida to Illinois. I have now decided to track down the passenger foot rest made by Amco. I ended up with a Japanese version but think the US (Amco branded) might be a better day 2 add-on for a US sold car. Im going to keep the Japanese version as well but am looking to install an Amco One once I find it.
Jarvo2 Posted March 26, 2013 Share #12 Posted March 26, 2013 Thanks for the update, if I run across any Amco Foot Rests, I'll let you know. I do still have my parcel bar, and now that I have an idea of what they're going for I'll most likely list it.
