what do i need to do to switch from f.i. to carbs? i do not have any luck with the fuel injection system and just came across dual webber carb setup for a good price.

- lower fuel pressure (change pump from high pressure to low pressure)

-regulate fuel pressure to ~4 psi

- Install fuel cut-off safety mechanism

Remove

-manifold

- efi components

You will need the distributor and the ignition module.

The rest can go:

AFM

Injectors

TVS

FPR

Fuel Rail

ECU

Electrical Harness

Dropping resistors

AAR

You may also need a vacuum reservoir-type device for powering the brake booster.

Whats wrong with EFI. What year is it? I might want it.

i did not mean to make an argument i just remember having a 240z and it got crashed so i bought a 280z and i have had issues with fuel injection since day 1

I know I am not answering you're question, but there are ways of getting the EFI system to perform well. Search the forum or ask what you're symptoms are and you will get help. But at the least you will need of course, a new intake monifold and carbs, but you know this already.
