Ben's Z Posted February 18, 2012 Share #1 Posted February 18, 2012 Bought some 280zx wheels. Been working on a couple of them. Not an expert by any means. 2 are buffed 2 are not. I used an air angle grinder with a blue roloc disk to remove most of the aluminum ridges on the spokes, then just went at it with some buffs and rouge. 72 OJ Posted February 19, 2012 Share #3 Posted February 19, 2012 I have the same ZX set of wheels on my 72 Z, they look fantaztic when polished and blend nice with the Z sexy lines.
Zguy91 Posted February 20, 2012 Share #4 Posted February 20, 2012 I cleaned and polished a set just like these for my 280z. Used stainless wool and then used a corded drill with a powerball and metal polish. Then I painted the inserts. They came out pretty good.
