Sorry to hear of Vic's health issues. Nice car. I hope it goes to a good home.

Vic is one of the truly good guys in the southern California Datsun scene. His health issues are part of the reason he's not visited here for at least two years. Haven't seen him since the Solvang Roadster show in 2008. My prayers are with him.

I can't imagine anyone placing a normal bid on Vic's car. Someone will click the B-I-N button. And they will get a great car....

I'm going to go see Vic at the Eagle Rock Swap Meet March 18. That's the wrong date (March 16) in the JNC article.

I had the pleasure of meeting Vic a few years back. A good guy, I pray that he recovers soon. I agree that if someone is looking for a solid Z, they should BIN. A bargin for sure.

Unfortunately in today's market the car is overpriced.

NADA Vehicle Information Guides lists 3 pertinent values for '72 240z's;

At the low end is $7625, the average is $13,400 and the high retail value is $22,900.

FACT; The asking price for this vehicle is just about in the middle; FACT

I'm not going to get into a pricing argument.
