February 28, 201213 yr comment_382354 A solid state drive attached under the chassis might even be better for those who think this is a good HD enclosure.Dennis Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/42441-240z-external-hard-drive/#findComment-382354 Share on other sites
February 28, 201213 yr comment_382359 That's what I was thinking. That way, you wouldn't have to hack up the car. That being said, as much of a Datsun fan as I am, a Datsun bodied hard drive is really a bit much IMO..... February 28, 201213 yr comment_382369 It's a starting point for ideas... perhaps a hollow base to enclose the drive, with the car on top. That way you'd be concealing the drive while displaying the Z on the desk or shelf. Hide the clutter with something cool. February 28, 201213 yr comment_382390 As a mass produced gadget... maybe not, but as a place that you can store the back-up of your important files... pretty darn cool as an idea to build on. March 5, 201213 yr comment_383053 I would be the first one to congratulate the person who becomes a millionaire by combining diecast 240Zs and external hard drives. March 5, 201213 yr comment_383056 It is a good idea. At first I thought, why? poo poo...but then I realized that something like this is what turns people into millionaires.I think the best way to end up with one million dollars from this idea would be to start with two million dollars and the desire to make money selling hard drives with Z enclosures. On the other hand.....Pet rocks shaped like Zs......Dennis Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/42441-240z-external-hard-drive/#findComment-383056 Share on other sites
