Somebody mentioned a sticker somewhere in all of this. I just thought I'd mention that I have a small vinyl sticker and sign business and I'd be willing to do the stickers pretty cheap.

A friend of mine is in a national web-based Jeep club and they've got vinyl stickers with their screennames on them. Depending on the complexity, quantity and color, I'd do them for $2-4 +S&H each (personalized). Then the club could add their cut. Depending on the arrangement, each one would probably sell for $5-7 through the site.

Just a thought. If you're interested, let me know.

Hi guys, I just stumbled on this thread again today because of the latest activity. Anyway, yes we are very open to working on some projects related to club merchandise! I like the sticker idea, so, please send me a PM with your contact information about the business. I also have a brand new logo coming out soon. It's a nice piece designed by an architect I know. She's been working on the idea for quite a few months and we are very happy with the result. The new sticker will work well on a vinyl applique.. Not to mention, a cool Tshirt design. At one time I had a deal going with a Tshirt business, but, I think that deal dropped because I never heard back from the guy. So, we are probably ready to look at some other Tshirt relationships. Not sure I'll go with the Cafepress thing again because their product quality is poor. The best shirt we did was something that Racegirl had custom made back when she was with the club (and with me, haha). Anyway, at this point I am into finding high quality and long-lasting products. So, let me know if you have any contacts!

There is a local embroidery shop near me Mike, that is run by an older woman. She is sweet as American Pie, and does good work. I have used her before and had a good experience. I would like the option of an embroidered shirt as well as the standard silk screen shirt.

If you would like to me to ask for more information, let me know.

This... great idea... I'm in.

Also... my .02

Embroidery is no good on t-shirts because it tends to bunch. However, it's the only way to go on polos where silk screen ends up looking cheap.

All that said, I prefer t-shirts with silk screen and keep the design simple... ie: the Z oval and script minus the car, plus the red car would clash against my orange car :)

Nate,

if you get a comparatively heavy tshirt embroidery works well-I ordered embroidered tshirts four years ago for Coastal Z CLub...here is mine worn to evey out of town Z meet and more of the club events than not-still looks good to me after at least 100 washings...admittedly it did look much better when brand new. I chose embroidery because it looks nicer-again, the heavier fabric holds ots shape best. I had Dark and light denim, black and white tshirts, and a couple of other things embroidered... The tshirstended up costing around $10 plus shipping-bought in quantity and waiting for a sale they were less.
