March 9, 201213 yr comment_383456 KYB has stock travel. Putting a shorter spring on isn't going to cause any problems. The spring will be loose. This is not a problem. Search and you'll see this loose spring issue comes up pretty regularly. March 9, 201213 yr comment_383460 Yes, the lowering springs are loose when the car is jacked up. This will be true of any strut cartridge. This is normal. When I've got the car jacked up I let it down slowly and make sure that the springs seat properly. No biggie. March 10, 201213 yr Author comment_383662 Ok, so my choices are narrowing down a bit. It is looking like a lot of people are going with a similar setup, this makes me more comfortable going with KYBs and most likely the new springs. So now I am on to sourcing rubber bushings. Any idea if Beck Arnley bushings are any good or even if they are rubber or poly? I know my tc bushings are on there last leg. Thanks everyone for the advice. March 10, 201213 yr Author comment_383667 I just noticed, grantf, that cozye said he would recommend the eibach's and kyb's....post #12. So I think I will do it. I have eibachs on the car right now so I will just order the kyb's and install them. The site you posted above is the same site I looked at 2 nights ago. I think it's a good price too.Let me know how the set up works out for you if you finish before me.
