Seeing as I will never be able to afford new bumpers, what do you all think about those aftermarket kits that add new nose and rear to the Z? I need to get whole body painted anyway.

That price is sad in that the person that bid on it doesn't know where to get one! Caveat emptor! You can tell the person bidding is not a member here or they wouldn't be spending more than they need to......The only thing this auction has going for it is the new or nearly new guards which are hard to find....

Andy Russell has new front bumpers for the 70-72(OE) for 295 or the "euro" front bumpers with no holes for the rubber rub strip for 279. The only problem is the rear bumper center piece for the "euro" bumper is NLA, and I'm not sure if the OE center piece is still available......

FWIW, I like the looks of the fiberglass bumper covers that MSA sells, but the price isn't much different than buying a new front bumper if you know where to look.:stupid:
