March 10, 201213 yr comment_383572 It opens with Microsoft Excel. I don't have access to it right at this moment, so I can't give you any numbers. I think that distributor has 17 degrees of mechanical (typical ZX unit) and a really large amount of vac advance (30 degrees?). March 10, 201213 yr comment_383574 The d6k8-22 is a 1980 california model electronic distributor from a 280ZX, for both auto and manual shift trans. It has 17 degrees mechanical advance and uses a vacuum advance with 30 degrees. (wow, that's heaps!) That's pretty good Leon off the top of your head. March 10, 201213 yr Author comment_383598 great thanks for everbodys help ,is the vaccum advance of 30 degrees to much for a stock f54 block with dished pistons n47 head and su carbs? car runs great with no ping or noise.or would I be better with vaccum advance disconnected and run 17 degrees timming plus 17 degrees of mechanical to make total 34 degrees Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/42554-dissy-d6k8-22/#findComment-383598 Share on other sites
