Posted March 12, 201213 yr comment_383812 Not sure if I attached properly, but, yeah Bracket(s) are wedge engineering. Both seats to be installed completely by this upcoming weekend 1973, 5-speed, some suspension items and headers ~Cat Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/42588-removed-drivers-seat-and-fit-brackets-and-temporary-drivers-seat/ Share on other sites
March 13, 201213 yr comment_383885 Looks great - seats with proper leg, hip and back support make a huge difference in driving enjoyment in these older Z's. Especially as you get older!!Just make sure they are securely bolted in place.. you don't want them coming lose in an accident. March 18, 201411 yr comment_443677 What's the trick for attaching/removing the rear bolts? I seem to have quite a hard time with reaching from behind & under the seat to access the bolts. Any suggestions or words of wisdom would be appreciated!! March 18, 201411 yr comment_443679 did you slide the seat all the seat all the way forward or backward to give you better access? March 18, 201411 yr comment_443684 I have ended up using a larger nut that can be removed by hand using a small metal rod I insert into one of four holes that I drilled to give me leverage.
