Seat webbing gone

Victoria British (and probably others) sells a 240Z "Seat Cushion Strap Repair Kit" for $49.95 that enables you to fix that. It's basically just a roll of the stretchy strap material and the hooks needed to attach them. I haven't tried it yet but probably will at some point.

Since the seat is already out of the car I would see what an Auto upholsery shop would charge. If the kit is $50.00 plus shipping plus your headache to install. My bet is theman with the experence and the tools could make your day. Daniel

Too Intense also has the webbing kits. It might save you a wee bit of money if you supplied the webbing to an uphostery shop. Save's them making a profit on the parts, just have to pay them for the labor this way....

Sorry guys, but VB doesn't help support the our site, so they would be my last choice....:devious:

So does Motorsport Auto in LA.

That $49.95 price is INSANE. If that's what VB wants for the kit, they are ripping people off. There is barely $15.00 worth of materials in the kit.

One thing to consider, if you are taking the seat to an uphostery shop and bring your own materials, they'll just up the labor charges so they earn the same $$ as if you let them supply the materials AND they won't warrentee the work with your materials.

Been there, done that.

If you're going to a uphostery shop, let them supply the materials and warrentee the work.

just my $.02

I've got about 8 ft. of webbing and a bunch of clips and the pliers left over from my seat restoration. Could be enough for one seat. Send me a P.M. if you want it. I will mail it to the first P.M. I will not be able to mail it before the last week of the month.
