Posted March 19, 201213 yr comment_384617 I'm cleaning-up my air cleaner housing on my 76 and there is a gasket (seal) under the lid aorund the outter edge. It was all dried and cracked so I scraped it off. March 19, 201213 yr comment_384620 There is a little figure 8 extrusion in the HVAC area of Home Depot and maybe other places. We have trimmed one of the "O" in two with razor blade and glued it into the groove. Go eyeball what they have.... You can trim the other "O" put it on ebay and get rich......... March 20, 201213 yr comment_384742 I have some 3/4" wide X 5/16" thick closed-cell, self-adhesive weatherstrip that I used to replace fender seals and a few other bits. I sliced off a strip about 5/16" wide and used it as a replacement gasket.
