Posted March 23, 201212 yr comment_385111 Hi,Name is Michal, most just call me Mike thou. I have been addicted to Zs ever since I was 14 and saw my first s30. I later learned to drive on that car which just sealed the deal on how much I wanted the car! I had a few Zs in my past most notably a 77 280z that was restored by a guy in Little Rock, AR. That car had a Rebello racing 3.1L stroker with triple mikuni carburetors, it was an amazing car. However, I was always bugged by the fact that it was another guy that built it, and even thou it was great, it never really felt like it was my car. I sold it to a buddy of mine and regretted it ever since. That was 4 years ago. Today I am about to graduate college, I finally secured a good steady paying job, and will be able to afford my Z. Hastily I started looking on craigslist until I found a 70 series I 240z. I drive out to see it, and it looks rough, doesn't run or drive, new floor has been welded in, but the welder must have been drunk, as there are only 2 sides of each floor pan "tacked" in place, no beads ... anyway not going to rant. It's a 70 thou and not only that, the VIN number is HLS30 - 00655, I had to have it. After working out an awesome deal with the previous owner, who was a great guy, and told me everything he knew, I trailered the car home. So yet again, I am a proud owner of a money pit, that will make me happier than any one thing can! Thanks for reading and I look forward to reading and learning from the people on this forum. Pics to come as soon as it will make it out of the carport under it's own power! March 24, 201212 yr Author comment_385217 this was after her first wash, she drove out there on her own but had to push her back due to leaking clutch master cylinder.
