I had a 73 in the mid to late 70's and it it ran like SH*T until I put Round Tops on it. Only reason I'd keep them on the car would be if it was a show car only. Opinions are like a$$holes, everyones got at least one! That's one of mine! January 15, 200322 yr comment_23351 This isn;'t one of those cars you buy to drive. This is one of those you buy to put in your own personal museum. Yes, it's driveable, but only to the local Concours Shows, and then ONLY in perfect weather, probably with a front and rear escort the whole way.Sorry Bambi, doing anything, and I mean ANYTHING to this car would be like trying to improve on the Mona Lisa or Marilyn Monroe, or .... Sometimes the best you can do is absolutely nothing. Besides, anyone buying this car to take it out on the road as a driver or ~shudder~ as a Daily Driver, should be shot, if not emasculated.....Like you said, this is just my opinion. January 16, 200322 yr comment_23399 Sorry Squeaky, errr Carl, I'd have to agree with Enrique. This one is a trailer queen, perhaps even more collectible than a Z Store car. It's in un-molested shape, and a low mileage car.... Only thing I don't like is the color.... :cross-eye Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/4277-nowthis-is-very-nice/#findComment-23399 Share on other sites

But Z's are meant to be driven. "We arrrre DRIVEN!" Remember the comercial?I just can't stand to perpetuate the abomination that Datsun (Nissan) was FORCED into by the Feds. There is no way that Datsun WANTED those "things" on the car. They did it because they had a goldmine to work and this was the only way they could continue to do it until FI was ready to roll out.PS: Color Schmolor where's the Krylon! January 16, 200322 yr comment_23428 Hey 2Many,Don't like the color? I didn't care for it too much either but now that I've been looking at my 918 Orange 240Z coffee cup every day for 2 months it's starting to grow on me... Beautiful car - I'd love to see a '70 in that condition! January 17, 200322 yr comment_23541 Wish I had the money! I'd have to drive it though. And probably paint it. Orange isn't too bad though, better than yellow or purple. I think it should be against the law to paint any large, fast-moving object purple!! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/4277-nowthis-is-very-nice/#findComment-23541 Share on other sites
