Posted March 30, 201212 yr comment_385690 Just picked up some Interpart louvers for 1972 240z. They came off of a 1972 with all of the hardware except the key. My questions:Procedures/suggestions for getting the mounts under the window rubber; advice on finding keys or unlocking the locks; making the dull louver shiny. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks to all! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/42785-interpart-louvers-install/ Share on other sites
March 30, 201212 yr comment_385693 If I recall, the keys were just a "T" shape. As far as shiney goes, once the anodized finish is oxidized, not too much you can do but paint or re-plating. You can always try polishing a section on the underside to see if that will work. March 30, 201212 yr comment_385699 I just bought a new louver for my 280Z. Instructions are poor, but they do recomend using some dishwashing soap to ease the tabs under the weatherstripping. I'd go with a semi-gloss or matt black finish for a do-over. March 30, 201212 yr comment_385725 These are the instructions that came with mine in 1980. I think SBlake has a photo of the key. Bonzi Lon Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/42785-interpart-louvers-install/#findComment-385725 Share on other sites
